Standard double - These guestrooms offer two twin, or one queen or king-sized bed. Some bathrooms have separate bathtub, shower and toilet.
Superior double - These guestrooms are more spacious, with two twin, or one queen or king-sized bed, with a sitting area and a sofa bed. They include bathrobes.
Family room (junior suite) - These guestrooms combine two rooms with a sitting area on one level or in a duplex layout. They include one twin and one double bed or two double beds in each bedroom. Other amenities include two telephones with modem connections, two TVs with Internet access, seperate toilets, and a larger bathroom.

What to expect:

Amenity highlights: Two of the hotel�s magnificent reception rooms are decorated in classic period style, with crystal chandeliers and floor-to-ceiling window doors that open onto the garden patio during warmer weather. Fully-equipped meeting rooms in smaller sizes are also available. A brand new fitness center, spa, and 17-meter indoor swimming pool are set to open in April 2003. The concierge can help arrange many outdoor activities in Paris and the near suburbs.
Insider tip: To avoid standing outside in long lines for the Louvre Museum, avoid the glass pyramid entrance and enter instead through the underground shopping center, Carrousel du Louvre, at 99 Rue de Rivoli.

Restaurant Les Noailles - Renovations for this traditional French restaurant are scheduled to be completed in June 2003.
Bar St-James - Traditional French lunch and dinner specials are served in the intimate, English-style bar and lounge, which opens onto the garden patio. A full selection of cocktails and light snacks are also available throughout the day.
An American-style buffet breakfast is served daily in the restored vaulted stone cellars of the hotel, providing enough space to avoid waiting lines in the mornings even when the hotel is full.

Driving directions from Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport: Take the highway from Charles de Gaulle airport, direction Paris centre. On the Peripherique (ring road), take the exit for Porte Maillot. Take Avenue de la Grande Arm�e which leads on to the Champs Elys�es after the Arc de Triomphe. Continue until you reach the Place de la Concorde. Turn left onto Rue Royale and an immediate right on Rue St-Honor�. Turn right at Rue St-Roch and again right onto the one-way Rue de Rivoli and proceed to the hotel.
