Thatched-roof palapas are abundant on the decks and beach and padded lounge chairs provide comfortable sunbathing. The two-level, immense, free-form north pool features an open-air cafe. The south pool is twice as long, a sinuous affair that includes jetted areas for bubbling relaxation, and terminates on its southern end in a children's pool adjacent to a playground and activities palapa where kids' programs are conducted during busy seasons.
- Insider tip: Scattered along each pool deck are large palapas shading padded platforms with long, round cushions for leaning against. Spacious enough for two adults and/or several children, the platform palapas are ideal for napping or reading. Claims must be staked early when the hotel is busy.
