Grand Hotel - overview.

Set opposite the Royal Palace, this hotel built in 1874 is a well-known landmark in Stockholm.
This 310-room hotel originally hosted the annual Nobel Prize banquets and provides accommodation for Nobel laureates to this day.
The guestrooms—no two of which are exactly alike—are appointed with old-world furniture and artwork.
The ornate Spegelsalen ballroom was designed as a replica of Louis XIV’s Hall of Mirrors at Versailles.

Classic Room - The classic room features one king-size or double bed; rooms can accommodate a maximum of two guests.
Superior Room - The superior room features one king-size or double bed; rooms can accommodate a maximum of three guests. Facilities available in this room type include a seating area with a sofa or armchairs.

The Grand Veranda - A popular meeting place in Stockholm for hotel guests, travelers, and locals to eat and socialize while enjoying wonderful views over the harbor, old town, and royal palace.
Franska Matsalen – The French Dining Room with an open show kitchen has been around ever since the Grand Hotel first opened its doors in 1874. The restaurant is regularly visited by “star chefs” from overseas, events which no true epicure would want to miss.

Breakfast is not included in the rate but may be purchased at an additional cost.

Driving directions from Stockholm Arlanda Airport: From the airport, simply follow the signs for the center of Stockholm and then the harbor where you will find the hotel.
