Guestrooms boast smashing views of the city and delight with features like sleigh beds, 400-thread-count sheets, a state-of-the-art entertainment center, and high-speed Internet access.

Superior - These rooms have one king or two double beds and can accommodate a maximum of four guests.
Guest Room - These slightly smaller rooms have one king bed and can accommodate a maximum of two guests.
One Bedroom Suite - These rooms have one bedroom with one king bed, and a separate living room with a sofa and dining table. They can accommodate a maximum of two guests.

Amenity highlights: Almost a century old, the reconceived Italian Renaissance-style Clift highlights an intriguing and eclectic collection of furniture by American and European artists, specially commissioned digital paintings, an oversized fireplace with a cast-bronze sculpture by Gerard Garouste, a rooftop terrace and conservatory, and the legendary Redwood Room bar.
Insider tip: With several of San Francisco’s most prominent theaters just over a block away, taking in a show is almost a must. The TIX booth on Stockton and Geary streets, 2 blocks from the hotel, sells half-price, day-of-performance tickets for shows ranging from Broadway musicals to small, local productions.

Asia de Cuba - This unabashedly glamorous restaurant showcases creative Latin and Asian fusion cuisine, with dishes such as oxtail spring rolls, Chinese five-spiced sirloin, and Hunan whole wok-crispy fish stuffed with crab escabeche.
Redwood Room - A San Francisco landmark since 1933, this legendary room displays wood-paneled walls made of old giant redwood trees. A series of flat-screen televisions show an ever-changing display of avant-garde digital art.
