Splendid Hotel - overview.

In city center the Splendid has been managed for three generations by the same family.
Situated on a quiet avenue, in the city center, The Hotel Splendid offers an AMAZING view on the city as well as on the mountains.
Easily accessible from the station or the airport by the rapid way, it is hardly 400 m from the sea.
Warm and relaxing the desk and the lobby are devoted to comfort but also work as conference facilities are on the same level.

Hotel Splendid features 128 guestrooms with one queen or two twin beds; each room can accommodate two guests.

Le Concerto restaurant features fine Mediterranean cooking with outdoor dining.
For relaxation, two bars are available: one in the lobby and The Topsail bar on the 8th floor with panoramic views on the city and the Alps.
Breakfast will be served also on 8th floor in a panoramic dining room.

Tax of 5.5 % is not included in the price but will be added at the time of booking.
No room charges for children, 12 and under, when sharing room with parent. There is a TWO GUEST MAXIMUM in the rooms, i.e. two adults, or two children or one adult and one child.
Cribs are complimentary but subject to availability and should be requested at time of booking.
Bedding: Hotel offers rooms with one double bed or twin beds.
Two (2) guests maximum.
Upon check-in, photo identification and credit card or cash deposit is required for incidental charges.
All special requests are subject to availability upon check-in.
Check-in time is noon.
Check-out time is 2 PM.

Directions from Nice Airport:
By taxi: they are always available; one way fare about 140/150francs for a maximum of 4 persons; if in doubt ask for a receipt
By bus: there is a yellow bus marked nice direct which is on your left when you come out of terminal 1, on your right out of terminal 2; fare is about 21francs per person; ask for the Meyerbeer stop which is just after the Negresco hotel alongside the sea; when getting out of the bus, facing inland, you will see the rue Meyerbeer on your left: just walk up for about 430 yards; you will see the Splendid hotel immediately
Directions from the Train Station:
By taxi about 50/60Francs
By foot, turn right when coming out of the train station: you will see a big red brick building which is a post office; just before it there is a rue Gounod which goes down towards the sea: take it and after about 430 yards you will see your hotel on your right.
