The Great Eastern Hotel

The Great Eastern Hotel - overview.

  • Now considered a modern classic, this historic 1884 railroad hotel in London—next to the Liverpool Street Station—re-opened in 2000 after a major renovation combined its Victorian grandeur with a bolder, hipper sensibility.
  • After a visit to the famous Globe Theatre or a business lunch, guests can return to one of 267 sleek guestrooms with a CD player and music library, data port for Internet access, and premium Frette linens.
  • Stroll across the Tower Bridge before enjoying sushi or modern European cuisine at one of the hotel’s restaurants.

The Great Eastern Hotel - Room details

  • Queen Double Room - These swanky rooms have one queen bed, which is outfitted in Frette linens; rooms can accommodate a maximum of two adult guests. A CD player and library of CDs add to guests’ listening pleasure, and most travelers will find it easy to get down to work (or postcard-writing) while sitting in a comfortable Eames chair at an ergonomic workstation.
  • King Double Room - These deluxe rooms have one king bed, which is outfitted in luscious Frette linens; rooms can accommodate a maximum of two adult guests.
