This European-style hotel is located within the Downtown Crossing shopping district and the historic Financial District. Park Street Station just three blocks away offers access to buses, subway, and trolleys.
Even with 501 guestrooms and 16 floors, the Swissotel feels like a small boutique property. Floors are divided into four levels, each with its own atrium, terrace, and sitting area.
Guests enjoy free use of the hotel’s health club, with fitness equipment, sauna, indoor pool, and spa; personal trainers and massage are available. The sundeck is perfect for lounging.

Amenity highlights: All the tastefully decorated guestrooms have views of Boston’s historic landscape. They are equipped with dual-line telephones and modem Internet access. The hotel’s business center offers administrative services, personal computers, printers, faxing, and copying.
Insider tip: Boston Common is only two blocks from the hotel. In winter, children under 13 ice skate for free on the Frog Pond. In summer, guests see free performances staged by the Commonwealth Shakespeare Company (it’s wise to bring something to sit on). Filene’s Basement, one block from the hotel, has superb discounts on designer clothing and accessories.

Café Suisse - This comfortable restaurant serves Swiss, French, German, and Austrian cuisine, as well as traditional American dishes, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It also offers a fine Swiss-style Sunday brunch with muesli, cheeses, and fresh pastries. The café hosts its Winter Fondue Festival from January through March with a menu of Swiss style favorites, including a cheese fondue dinner and a chocolate fondue dessert.
Lobby Lounge - In the hotel’s elegant atrium lobby, the hotel lounge offers a vast array of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and light fare such as salads, sandwiches, and chicken wings.
