The Sheraton Boston claims to be New England’s largest hotel, and provides indoor access to the Hynes Convention Center and the Prudential and Copley Place malls, all in Boston’s historic Back Bay area.
The 1,215 guestrooms, with views of the Charles River, were recently renovated with new furnishings, sleigh beds, pillow-top mattresses, and velvet drapes. Each room has high-speed Internet access.
Guests have free use of a sundeck and the hotel’s 18-meter swimming pool, with an overhead retractable dome that lets in the summer sunshine. A fitness area with exercise equipment is available.

Standard Room - Guestrooms offer one king bed and can accommodate a maximum of three guests with a rollaway bed, or two double beds to accommodate a maximum of four guests.

The use of a fitness area is available for a fee.
Insider tip: The hotel is a half-block from the Boston Marathon route and 3 blocks from the finish line. Guests should stake out a spot early for good views of the athletes. From the hotel, guests have indoor access to Top of the Hub restaurant and lounge on the 52nd floor of the Prudential Center Tower and its spectacular views, especially from a table by the window at dusk.

Apropos Restaurant - This full-service restaurant features an open-air kitchen/buffet area, serving creative American cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Some of the à la carte specialties include dishes of scrod, grilled lamb chops, and grilled New York sirloin. Private rooms are available for special occasions.
Turning Point Lobby Lounge - Cocktails and appetizers are available in this wide-open lounge furnished with upholstered high-back chairs and plush couches laden with throw pillows.
